Requirements for Candidates is as follows:
- Candidates need to be experienced and are able to work autonomously.
- Proven work history of supervising and organising personnel, materials, equipment and subcontractors.
- Must have Seniors living, aged care, and accessibility experience and knowledge
- Have construction trade qualifications and must have detailed construction knowledge in all trades and facets of residential and commercial construction.
- A thorough understanding of Australian building regulations, and WHSE regulations, ensuring correct building practices and procedures are being adhered to all times.
- A thorough understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) systems and quality focused with an eye for detail and a passion to produce quality builds.
- Able to read, review, and interpret project documentation including identify any potential clashes with the ability to resolve such clashes.
- Solution-focused with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Solid project and site management including experience in co-ordinating and managing trades & suppliers, developing a reliable trade network, and having a results-driven mindset.
- Strong programming and look ahead capabilities, with the ability to ensure the program of works are being adhered to.
- Good communication with excellent people management and leadership skills.
- Well organised and self-sufficient, with Strong time management skills
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Project, Programming, and Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity and proficiency is CAD, Bluebeam, Adobe, and Purchasing Software (Levesys, Jobpac, Cheops) highly advantageous.
- Strong work ethics with honest, trustworthy, and reliable traits.
- Although not mandatory, estimating and contracts admin experience would advantageous.
- Have completed the General Construction Induction Course/White Card
- Valid Australian C class driver's license is essential - MR or HR advantageous.
