Join our dynamic School of Psychology team! We offer innovative undergraduate and postgraduate programs across Perth, Singapore and Dubai. Our research spans biological psychology, cognition, developmental psychology, social psychology and mental health, supported by our purpose-built Mind Body lab.

Your New Role

We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Psychology with a strong commitment and ability to secure research funding to join our team. The successful candidate will engage in activities that enhance scholarly research and professional expertise within their field.

This role significantly contributes to the school’s teaching efforts through the preparation and delivery of lectures and tutorials, unit coordination and the supervision of research students (including 4th year, postgraduate coursework, and higher degree by research). Academic staff at this level will also participate in a wide range of administrative and service functions within the school, across the University, and in professional activities within the discipline of psychology.

This Continuous | Full Time (37.5 hours per week) based at our South Street, Murdoch Campus attracts a remuneration of $108,849K – $128,939K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

Selection Criteria:

  • A PhD in psychology or related area.

  • Experience in teaching at the undergraduate level.

  • Success in producing high quality independent research outputs that have international impact and influence.

  • Experience in successfully supervising Honours, Masters of Coursework, HDR or postgraduate students.

  • A passion for teaching and commitment to engage with contemporary approaches to curriculum and pedagogy including related technologies.
