Skilled Cook Needed for an Immediate Start

Banjo Paterson Inn is a well-known hospitality venue located in the heart of Jindabyne, serving locals, tourists, and snow enthusiasts year-round. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to venue standards.
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients and mise en place for service.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized kitchen environment in line with food safety regulations.
• Support senior kitchen staff in coordinating daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and taste.
• Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management.
• Adhere to all health and safety standards and practices.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen culture.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Cook in a busy kitchen environment (2+ years preferred).
• Ability to work across different kitchen stations.
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and peak seasons.
• Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Passion for producing high-quality food with attention to detail.
