Description
Riverside Adventist School is seeking a dedicated Teacher Aide to join our team. This Fixed-Term Term-Time position offers an exciting opportunity to provide valuable support within an educational setting. As a Teacher Aide, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the classroom teacher in implementing learning activities and supporting students in their educational development.
- Providing one-on-one or small group assistance to students who require additional support with their learning.
- Supporting the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
- Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of classroom resources and materials.
- Supervising and supporting students during break times and off-site activities as required.
- Collaborating with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure the holistic development of each student.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential. Previous experience working in an educational setting or with children is desirable.
