ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Electrician (preferably with experience maintaining and repairing Heavy Vehicle / Mining Equipment) to perform maintenance and repairs on CAT / Hitachi Heavy Mobile Equipment, along with others. The ideal candidate will have a strong auto electrical aptitude, previous experience working with heavy vehicles, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for ensuring that the equipment we help maintain operates at peak performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Diagnose and repair Heavy Mobile equipment electrical systems and other equipment electrical systems as required

Perform routine maintenance and inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns

Disassemble and reassemble heavy equipment electrical systems

Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess and repair equipment efficiently

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work
-
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and guidelines

Collaborate with team members to complete complex repairs

Communicate works with client and GenPower Supervisor daily / weekly

REQUIREMENTS:
-
Australian recognised trade completion certificate in Automotive Electrical Technology
-
Hold a current Air Conditioning Certificate and Licence

National Police Clearance
-
Practical experience working within a heavy-duty environment
