About the Role
Brisbane Girls Grammar School is seeking a full-time Helpdesk Support Officer to join our IT Helpdesk team.
As the incoming IT Helpdesk Support Officer, you will be a primary point of contact in running the student service area and supporting staff and students with technology issues on various IT systems.
Your key tasks will include:
- managing the allocation of first-level tickets within the Service Desk system and ensuring that all staff and student walk-in and phone requests are recorded
- responding to staff and student IT requests in a timely and proactive manner to ensure a high standard of service delivery
- undertaking the day-to-day maintenance and administration of the School's desktops and mobile technology
- undertaking regular maintenance checks on all IT equipment in the School, in particular ensuring the School's computer laboratories are maintained and in satisfactory working order.

You will also have:
- tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar
- experience with Microsoft Windows and Apple desktop operating systems
- experience with Android, Apple iOS and emerging mobile operating systems
- genuine interest in IT knowledge and problem-solving skills
- proven capability in delivering comprehensive technical support to all stakeholders
- ability to acquire and maintain a Positive Working with Children Check (also known as a Blue Card).
