Transgrid is currently looking to recruit a Coordinator to support our Community and Stakeholder team. The role will be based out of our Wagga Wagga and you will be responsible for providing stakeholder engagement and communications support to assist in the delivery of stakeholder engagement activities on EnergyConnect and other major projects to ensure community needs are heard and responded to and will play a pivotal role in developing and growing Transgrid’s social licence.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should bring a mix of the following skills and experience:
- Relevant qualifications or suitable experience in supporting communications, project management or public relations
- Experience planning and coordinating events and meetings
- Analytical skills and proven ability to undertake stakeholder or community research to understand and help develop controls and responses
- Experience working collaboratively with a small team / resources / contractors in the field
- Proven experience using stakeholder management databases including producing reports
- Experience in drafting reports, communication materials, briefing notes or correspondence
- Skills in oral and written communications; communicating complex ideas through clear and effective messages with a demonstrated high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve results to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to show resilience in communicating sensitive information in a public forum
- Accreditation and experience in delivering in accordance with relevant IAP2 practices
- Hold a current NSW driver licence
