Innovation Division is looking for an Executive Assistant to provide high level executive support to the Executive Director (ED), Innovation Strategy by organising and prioritising workflows, preparing and coordinating correspondence and providing program support as required to ensure effective delivery of services for the relevant business unit.The Innovation Division is focused on driving economic growth, job creation and better outcomes for Queensland through innovation. The division connects the innovation policy agenda, program design and delivery, and the coordination of Advance Queensland across the department and at a whole-of-government level. We connect and partner with key stakeholders to drive economic growth and foster a high performing and well-networked innovation ecosystem throughout Queensland.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has
- high level, professional, efficient, and confidential executive support experience
- adaptability to work autonomously and as a team member
- ability to prioritise work and achieve outcomes in a dynamic and changing environment.
- ability to analyse issues, establish a course of action, adopt a proactive and solution focussed attitude, and work with minimum direction.
- high level attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- experience in managing high volumes of incoming and outgoing correspondence, including quality assurance skills
- ability to identify improvements and implementing changes, which enhance service delivery
- role model Individual Contributor leadership behaviours as outlined in the Leadership competencies for Queensland.
