About the Role:
Cleland Wildlife Park is looking for a motivated individual ready to take the next step in their animal management career, working as a Senior Wildlife Keeper across the site's collection.
The Senior Wildlife Keeper is responsible for the day to day operation and direction of staff and exhibits within the animal management section and contributes to the delivery of animal management services by assisting in the development, maintenance and co-ordination of the Park's wildlife displays, breeding programs, native animal care routines and the enhancement of visitor activities and education programs.

Special Conditions:
- Will be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
- Some out of hours may be required.
- A current class “C” driver’s licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4wd is essential.
- The incumbent will be required to wear a uniform in accordance with departmental policy.
- This role has functions pertaining to working with children and is prescribed under the Child Safety (Prohibited Person) Act 2016 as requiring a Working With Children Check (WWCC). By applying for this role you consent to being screened for appropriate behaviour and to the Department obtaining, or requiring you to obtain a WWCC.
Remuneration:
GSE6 $1,185.50 min - $1,199.50 max per week
