Job description: Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities. We are currently recruiting staff for Hills Shire- Annangrove ,Baulkham Hills, Beaumont Hills, Bella Vista, Box Hill, Castle Hill, Dural, Gables, Glenorie, Kellyville, Kenthurst and surrounding areas What’s On Offer Permanent Part-time contracts are available depending on your location and availability to work Earn from $29.81 - $33 per hour based on your experience plus 11.5% super Travel Allowance of $0.92 per KM PLUS paid travel time Stable roster & opportunity to work extra hours based on business needs Smartphone and Uniform – ready when you join us A fully supported and paid Induction program Traineeship Opportunity - Become Cert III qualified in Individual Support (Aged Care) - all fees paid (for eligible employees) Fitness Passport - a discounted gym membership program (for eligible employees and their families) Your New Role Help at Home: such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation etc. Transportation and Personal Care: Experienced staff assist customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding etc. Client Awareness: Building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training Safety Practices: Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe Key Requirements Current Australian Driver’s License and ownership of a reliable comprehensively insured vehicle Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday All Australian Unity Employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID19 with a minimum of 2 doses Proficiency in an additional language such as Mandarin/ Vietnamese/ Spanish/ Arabic/ Lebanese/ Greek is valued but not mandatory We welcome applicants that have the below experience and/or a qualification Disability Support Worker Community Services/ Mental Health worker Assistant in Nursing (AIN) Bachelor of Social Work/ Nursing You could be an experienced Support Worker or even new to the industry coming from experience in customer service, administration, retail, or hospitality.
