Band 5 Salary: $78,456.56 - $90,192.96
We are seeking a dynamic Programming Officer to deliver the performing arts program across Creative Venues, including the Gippsland Regional Performing Arts Centre (GPAC).
About this role:
In this role you will coordinate venue bookings, ensuring seamless operations, and facilitate effective communication between technical production teams, front of house staff, and visiting artists.
You will also support community engagement through various programs that reflect local interests and cultural values.
The ability to balance artistic and technical requirements while maintaining high standards of service and compliance to provide engaging experiences for the community is crucial in this position.
About You
You will have:
Proven experience in project management planning, coordination, and delivery within budget and timelines and demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and evaluate programs in a performing or community arts context.Proven event and/or venue management skills in a performing arts setting.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a creative team.Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills across a range of stakeholders.Sound understanding of OH&S principles in arts and venue environments.
Also desirable:
Tertiary qualifications in Performing Arts Management, Programming, or equivalent experience in an arts-related role.Experience using a range of ticketing and booking systems.Experience in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of arts programming in a venue or community setting.
