Description:
Under the supervision of the Regional Manager Exploration – Western Canada, the technical sales representative is promoting our products for the mineral exploration drilling industry. We provide high-quality drilling solutions that include diamond tools, drilling equipment, accessories and services. As a Technical sales representative, you generate sales, create a high degree of loyalty, and preserve the exceptional satisfaction of our clients. You must establish sales strategies, analyze, and process the demands of our customers and create opportunities.

Main responsibilities:
Identify our customers’ needs and propose added value solutions.Support and develop sales strategies.Conduct prospecting activities and identify sales opportunities.Visit clients, including drill sites, and provide the proper tools.Ensure customer satisfaction and follow up after sales.Apply marketing strategies and promotions.Ensure a role of commercial watch and understand the markets under his responsibility.Inform and advise clients on the selection of different diamond tools.Carry out field tests with clients to demonstrate the quality and value of the products offered.Advise clients in order to ensure an optimal performance for these diamond tools through the most appropriate selection and use by terrain type and situation.Territories covered: British Columbia, Yukon, Northwest Territories, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, with some possible international travel.
Job Requirements:
Experience in exploration core drilling, geotechnical drilling practices or related field.High school diploma.Valid passport and available to travel (up to 50% of the time).Valid driver’s license.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Results driven, attention to details, strong organizational skills, self-motivated and successfully performing duties with a sense of urgency.
Location : Vancouver, Canada.
Pay range : $80,000 to $90,000 per year.
Plus an annual bonus based on target performance and commission.
Annual salary will be based on several variables including work experience, skills, and will be mutually agreed.
