About the Role
Reporting to the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, the responsibilities of the role will include:
· Obtain all pricing and product specifications and trading terms and enter them into the Container Pricing Spreadsheet to establish landed unit cost using cubic cost calculations to maximize container capacity
· Obtain shipping costs including freight, import duty and all land and sea freight to assist with accurate cost calculation
· Product compliance of all domestic and imported products to Australian standards
· Management of internal inventory systems for all products including setup of PIMS and Bill of Materials for any products requiring assembly
· Oversee stock receivable process completed by our Warehouse team to ensure accuracy, with any discrepancies, non-compliant or damaged stock reported and resolved with suppliers
· Managing order processing completed by our Warehouse team for timely dispatches and KPI target levels are achieved
· Understanding and training the Warehouse team on all aspects of EDI system and major customer requirements
· Stock management of short-dated products, including identifying potential overstocks and communicating with our Sales team and clearance customers to achieve the best return
· Manage New Zealand order fulfilment and warehouse with our freight forwarder partner
· Assisting the Supply Chain & Logistics manager where required, including forecasting and monitoring stock levels, freight management, packaging and warehouse efficiencies
About You
You are an experienced and self-driven person with Inventory experience in a dynamic environment.
You are confident in this type of position and you have a can-do attitude!
You are happy to take ownership of a role and you enjoy making the processes as efficient and as effective as possible.
You can work well autonomously or within a team, whilst being reliable, punctual, thoughtful, and active team player.
