Government Relations Administration Coordinator Full-Time | Fixed Term until 7 November 2025 Geelong Location | Hybrid Work Model (3 days in office) $80,243 + Super | State Government Opportunity Are you an experienced administrator with exceptional coordination skills and an interest in government or public sector work?

A state government organisation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Government Relations Administration Coordinator to join their team based in Geelong. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to important government relations activities, providing high-level administrative support and ensuring effective communication and work flow management across various teams and stakeholders. About the Role:

Working as part of the Office of the Chief Executive, the Government Relations Administration Coordinator will support the Government Relations team through a range of tasks including: Coordinating meetings, agendas, and the preparation and lodgement of briefings and reports Supporting the management of ministerial correspondence and government stakeholder engagement activities

Maintaining work logs, registers, and filing systems to track submissions and deliverables Assisting with logistics for ministerial visits and high-level events Preparing and submitting weekly and monthly reporting for government departments and offices

About You: To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Proven experience in high-level administration or coordination, ideally within a government, public policy, or executive environment Outstanding organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to simplify complex information

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Qualifications or equivalent experience in administration, communications, public policy or stakeholder engagement If you're looking for a meaningful administrative role where your coordination skills can make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
