ConsultANZ is looking for a Project/Site Manager to join our client’s team in Hamilton. This company specializes in civil infrastructure, including earthworks, drainage, subdivisions, and pipeline projects. With a smaller, agile team, they provide a collaborative work environment and the opportunity to lead essential infrastructure developments.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery.
- Oversee earthworks, drainage, and subdivision projects, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Facilitate effective communication between teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet regulatory and contract requirements.
- Identify potential risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and review budgets, proposals, and project reports, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Act as a hybrid role between Site Manager, Supervisor, and Project Manager, running smaller projects independently.
- Handle progress claims and maintain client relationships to ensure smooth project execution.
- Be highly hands-on with a strong commercial mindset, balancing site management with project coordination.
What You’ll Need:
- Tertiary qualification in civil engineering or construction management.
- 8-10+ years of experience in civil contracting, particularly in subdivisions, pipelines, watermains, and sewer mains.
- Solid understanding of construction techniques, contract administration, and project execution.
- Practical, hands-on approach with strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Competitive salary package: $140K - $160K + company car (negotiable based on experience).
