About the role
An exciting role with an industry-leading Services organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their finance team. This Management Accountants' position will help provide accurate, timely and relevant reporting, analysis and insight to help to drive efficiency, productivity & improve financial outcomes for the business. Initially this will be a long-term contractual role, however there is the genuine opportunity for potential extension and / or permanency.
The responsibilities
Reporting into the Divisional Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);

• Assist in monthly closing to ensure all month-end journals and accruals are accurate and completed.
• Ensure management reports are accurately completed within the specified timelines.
• Monitor patterns of revenue and expenditure components; investigating and reporting on relevant variances as needed
• Verify the accuracy of data across databases as well as allocations to the various business units.
• Assistance with the forecasting process
• Provide detailed analysis of actual performance-to-budget and forecasted results together with explanation of such variations.
• Ad-hoc involvement in projects as required

The successful applicant will have
Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. You will be able to work cohesively within a team and also autonomously as well. Additionally, you will have a strong attention to detail and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
