Northrop Grumman Australia provides the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) with through-life support for its fleet of KC30-A Multi-role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft—a derivative of the Airbus A330-200. The platform is a trusted and proven asset and the program is continually growing in capability and expertise.
Your Role
As a key part of the Engineering & Technical Services team, you will be responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of an integrated “Forward Work Plan”, to ensure effective task planning, prioritisation and resource utilisation across the Engineering team.
You will also
- Establish and promote a standardised approach to task planning, progress / status reporting, and resource management / allocation
- Work closely with the Services Managers (CAM and Design) to understand Customer requirements, direction and priorities, and regularly review the “Forward Work Plan” with Service Delivery Managers
- Work closely with Team Leads to monitor / review task status, progress and completion, to ensure the successful delivery to plan
- Work to create a prioritised backlog of tasks awaiting scheduling, ensuring the estimated effort and complexity of tasks is known; they are prioritised in accordance with Enterprise priorities
About You
As an agile and adaptable leader, you will have experience scheduling of a large volume of work, with a range of types and complexity levels involved along with:
- Experience in Project Management, Resource Management / Scheduling or Production Planning
- General understanding of Defence Aviation Safety Regulation (DASR) or civil equivalent
- Experience in using Project Management, Planning and Scheduling Tools
- Exemplary stakeholder engagement to enable effective partnering across the organisation.
