THE ROLE
We are looking for a Project Engineer with substation experience to join our team on a 10:4 roster . This role will see you taking technical responsibility, executing the study, design and construction management of electrical engineering projects. This position involves working closely with our design team, clients and suppliers to ensure their requirements and specifications are met during the design phase and delivered successfully in relation to time, cost, safety and quality.
Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience developing ITPs and work packs for electrical installation work packages. The ability to manage and co-ordinate the revision and version control of the design on site, including document registers, design information requirements for sub-contractors, request for information, mark-ups and site instructions, and liaising with our design team will be essential.
You will develop strong stakeholder relationships, maintaining a high standard for safety and compliance for construction activities, minimising delay, inconvenience and impact for any affected stakeholders and the environment.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering acceptable for membership of Institution of Engineers Australia in the Professional Engineering
- Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience, knowledge and understanding of high voltage substation and transmission lines projects essential
- Available to frequently attend project sites and work a 10:4 roster
- Strong experience in AutoCad and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with engineering codes, regulations, best practices, and performance standards
- Construction White Card essential
- Valid Australian Drivers License essential
- Full working rights within Australia
