The Centre:
Guardian Childcare & Education Wynnum West is a 120-place early learning centre , purpose-built to create inspiring learning environments for children aged six weeks to six years. The centre includes seven architecturally designed learning spaces and expansive outdoor play areas, all on one level. At the heart of it all? A state-of-the-art commercial kitchen built just for you.
The Opportunity: As the Centre Chef, you’ll:
- Develop and prepare seasonal, nutritious menus that cater to individual dietary needs and promote children's health and wellbeing
- Bring food to life through hands-on, sensory experiences as part of our “Cooking” educational program
- Build strong relationships with children, families, educators, and the wider centre community
- Uphold the highest food safety and hygiene standards in a brand-new, fully equipped kitchen

- Food Safety Supervisor certificate (required)
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or working towards it (desirable)
- An understanding of your responsibilities under Child Protection Laws
- A current Working with Children Check (Paid QLD Blue Card) or willingness to obtain one
