What You Will Need:
To successfully perform the duties of the position, applicants will need to demonstrate:

• A willingness to learn.
• A sound level of physical fitness for outdoor work.
• An excellent work ethic.
• A strong team orientation.
• Effective workplace communication skills.
• The ability to work away-from-home Mon to Fri as / when required.
• A proven commitment to a safe workplace.
• The ability to perform in a workplace where random drug and alcohol testing may be undertaken.

Although not essential, preference will be shown to applicants also able to offer any of the following:

• A rurally oriented background.
• Working knowledge of on-farm pump, irrigation or stock watering systems.
• An understanding of trenching or pipe laying.
• Construction Industry White Card.
• Excavator or Trencher competencies
• HR or HC Driver Licence

What you Will Do:
Although not limited to the following, duties will include:

• Preparing trenches
• Pipe laying
• Assisting with pump installation
• Following plans
• Completing job cards
• Maintaining safe work practices

Burnett Water Services is a local Kingaroy based business which has been operating for over 12 years in the South Burnett and surrounding regions specialising in agricultural irrigation, stock watering systems, pump repairs and the retail supply of pumps, pipes and fittings.
