About the Role

We are seeking a Production Operator to join our site in Beenleigh on Full-Time basis. The role will be responsible for all aspects of cylinder filling, maintenance, and testing to a high safety standard.
Key responsibilities and duties:

• Inspecting, sorting, painting, and handling of Industrial and LPG cylinders
• Accurately filling of industrial and hospitality cylinders
• Forklift Operation
• Completing daily checks to ensure equipment is safe to operate
• Data entry
• Accurate record keeping
• Reporting non-conformances
• Liaising with management and maintenance team as required
• General housekeeping duties
• Manual handling
• Forklift operation
• Other tasks as required from time to time

Skills & Experience

• Safety focused individuals
• Valid forklift licence is highly desirable or willingness to obtain and ability to operate a forklift safely
• Ability to learn technical procedures whilst maintaining a safe work environment
• A positive, self-motivated, enthusiastic, team player with a strong work ethic
• The ability to read and interpret procedures, standards and cylinder labels
• An ability to learn and understand of the hazards of various gases
• Reliability, with a flexible attitude to tasks and hours
• Capable to lift greater than 10 kg
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to policies and procedures
• Ability to work independently and to meet deadlines
• Organisational skills and time efficient
• ‘A "YES WE CAN" attitude towards customer service
• Technical/ Mechanical aptitude and computer skills highly regarded
• The successful candidate will be required to attend a pre-employment medical examination.
