The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Controller to join our growing Group Credit team. This is a hands on role and the successful candidate will be responsible for the debt and credit management for a portfolio of brands.
The role will encompass the following duties;
- Overseeing and managing a portfolio of key clients across Australia and New Zealand
- Assisting with the identification and delivery of key projects and operational process improvement initiatives.
- Initiating approval processes relating to account applications
- Cash receipting and allocations as required
- Liasing with operations regarding collection plans where necessary
- Monthly reporting
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within the Group
- Reducing overdue levels in portfolio
To be successful in this role you will have a drive to deliver and be a highly organised and efficient individual.
Ideally (but not essential) you will have:
- Experience in credit control OR Accounts Receivable role, ready to take the next step
- Excel skills
- Outstanding communication skills and a passion for problem solving
- Strong time management skills and demonstrated history of meeting deadlines
- A positive attitude, self-starter and someone who enjoys working in a supportive team environment
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise whilst building positive internal and external relationships
