This role will see you lead the execution of a $180m greenfield water intake at the Mulgrave River and a modern treatment facility, alongside contributing to a $140m pipeline network. The position offers the chance to apply your engineering expertise on projects with tangible community benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee delivery, project management, and contract management of major capital works
- Lead project teams and supervise staff and contractors
- Manage project costs, timelines, and quality assurance
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
- Provide detailed reporting on expenditure, progress claims, and scheduling
- Apply knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, statutory requirements, and contract law
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
- RPEQ status (or intent to obtain) highly regarded
- Extensive experience in civil engineering and project/contract management in medium to large organisations
- Proven ability to lead complex infrastructure projects and engage diverse stakeholders
