Disability Support Worker - South Ripley

Are you a passionate and experienced support worker looking for a rewarding opportunity? We are currently seeking a dedicated Mental Health / Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred support to a client living in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment in South Ripley .

About the Role:

You will be working closely with a young individual whose interests include Marvel , anime , and computer gaming . The role involves supporting the client at both their own home and family residence. Key duties include:

• Assisting with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care
• Supporting emotional wellbeing and promoting independence
• Implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP) and managing restrictive practices

Mandatory Licenses :

• Certificate III or IV in Disability, Mental Health, or equivalent
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current Working With Children Check (Blue Card)
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
• Experience with PBSP and restrictive practices essential

Roster – Fortnightly:

• Week 1 : Thursday Sleepover (16:00–06:00), Saturday Sleepover (14:00–06:00)
• Week 2 : Thursday Sleepover (16:00–06:00), Saturday Sleepover (14:00–06:00)
