About the Opportunity
The Compliance Inspector is tasked with conducting inspections, providing guidance, and offering educational assistance to licensees, traders, and consumers. This role, which targets specific industries based on CBS' priority areas and intelligence data, plays a crucial part in CBS' regulatory functions concerning a variety of legislation. A large part of the role involves field work, ensuring that compliance is achieved and maintained.

Special Conditions for Employment
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested. Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.
- Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
- Must hold a current Australian issued driver’s licence (equivalent to minimum class C).
- May be required to work according to a 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays. Eligible to be appointed and exercise the powers and functions of an Authorised Officer or Inspector under relevant legislation.
