About the role:
The Learning Consultant will work in a team that leads and manages key projects to build capability and support the department's goal of maturing our learning culture. The role will be responsible for the development, delivery, review and refinement of learning and capability programs and will negotiate with a range of stakeholders to ensure the content and schedule of the learning programs meet business requirements. This role will also work across key initiatives, such as the Performance and Development Plan program, leadership programs, mentor programs, as well as broader learning and organisational development projects.

About you:
Are You:
- Experienced in Learning and Organisational Development working with stakeholders to identify and build solutions to support organisational capability build
- Able to contribute to the development, management, facilitation and delivery of learning and professional development that meet contemporary practice
- Able to consult and liaises with influence with key stakeholders to produce detailed project plans where objectives are clearly defined and action steps for achieving them are clearly specifies and monitor performance against objectives and manages project risks and issues; ensures project objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will be a high performing team member with strong analytical, written problem solving, project coordination and communication skills. The role will work closely with team members within the Learning and Development team and other stakeholders to develop capability options and solutions to support the departments workforce capability uplift.
Qualifications / Specialist Expertise
- An appropriate qualification in Human Resource Management, Learning and Development or Organisational Psychology is highly desirable.
- An appropriate training and assessment qualification is desirable.
- Knowledge of contemporary leaning practices and adult learning principles.
- Good Knowledge of the department's IT services and software implementation practices including SuccessFactors, as well as high level expertise in Microsoft Office is desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in contract management.
- High level of project management skills.
