About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the CaFHS team as a Clinical Nurse, where you will be responsible for:

  • Provide proficient, person centred, clinical nursing care and/or individual case management to patients/clients in a defined clinical area.
  • Oversee the provision of nursing care within a team/unit.
  • You need to assess clients, choose and apply appropriate treatments or support programs, and evaluate their progress, all while following set guidelines in a team-based primary health care environment .
  • Monitoring patient/client care plans to ensure appropriate care outcomes are achieved daily.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate; or
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse and Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Registered Nurse with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
  • Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Capable of prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and working independently, while being creative, innovative, and flexible in addressing challenges within the healthcare setting.
