Based at head office and reporting directly to the CEO of this global organisation, as HRBP you will be responsible for end to end operational HR along with technical recruitment, interpretation of enterprise awards, working closely with managers and supporting staff across the business, whilst working in a dynamic and established team.

Description
The primary duties of the successful HRBP include:
- Support Management team on disputes, performance management, and terminations.
- Address organizational compliance with relevant legislation, industrial instruments, and policies.
- Mentor and support the HR personnel, enhancing their skills and capabilities.
- Work with Management team to plan and foresee operational requirements at stations, projects, Head office, addressing challenges, and creating action plans.
- Consult with the Recruitment Team regarding remuneration levels and contract draft reviews.
- Coordinate with consulting immigration lawyers on visa processes for overseas hires and stay updated on new requirements.
- Collaborate with management and employees to enhance work relationships, build morale, and improve productivity and retention.
- Identify and address training needs and professional development opportunities for teams and individuals.
- Support workforce planning, salary reviews, and contract reviews.
- Work with the Quality & Safety team to address health, safety, and environmental (HSE) matters and maintain a safe work environment.
- Provide accurate advice on Award and Agreement interpretation and implementation, seeking guidance when necessary.
- Oversee the implementation of new ERP and HRM systems.
- Participate in Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) negotiations and implement a benefits and remuneration program.
- Support process improvement initiatives across the business.
- Assist in creating and implementing policies and procedures across the workforce.
Profile
To be considered for this opportunity, the following core competencies for the position will be required:
- Degree qualified in Human Resources or related discipline/equivalent discipline.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills across various communication methods.
- Ability to develop strategies and conduct people mapping.
- Professional written skills, including concise language use, effective presentation, and a deep understanding of recruitment market and methods.
- Demonstrated commercial awareness with a strong focus on internal/external client needs.
- Proficiency in interpreting Employment Law Legislation, Enterprise Agreements and applying it to relevant scenarios.
- Consistent adherence to established methods and achievement of performance criteria.
- Track record of delivering high-quality recruitment outcomes.
- Experience in collaborating with external companies on software, tools for people development, and recruitment strategy.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, negotiation, and teamwork skills.
- Effective project and time management abilities.
