Description:

Join Blackstone, the world's largest alternative asset manager, as a Real Estate Summer/Winter Analyst in Sydney, focusing on real estate acquisitions and transactions.

Your role

Responsibilities

  • Participating in the acquisition of real estate companies and assets globally.
  • Engaging in the development, structuring, and financing of transactions.
  • Attending internal and external meetings, negotiations, and due diligence sessions.
  • Conducting real estate and public company valuation analysis and modeling.
  • Performing market research for new investment opportunities.
  • Evaluating CapEx, leasing, and disposition proposals.
  • Developing Investment Committee presentations.
  • Assisting in the diligence and execution of transactions.
  • Drafting memoranda for internal and external use.

About you

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and good judgment.
  • Perseverance, stamina, and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Prior analytical experience and basic knowledge of accounting and finance are desirable but not compulsory.
  • Enrollment as a full-time undergraduate or Master’s (excluding MBA) degree student with no more than 1 year of full-time working experience.
