We’re on the lookout for a proactive and organised Storeperson to join our team at Mondrian Gold Coast . In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in the day-to-day management of our hotel stores — ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes so our operations can shine out front.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring our teams have the supplies they need to deliver exceptional guest experiences. From tracking stock and preventing shortages or overstocking, to keeping accurate records and following procedures, your attention to detail and efficiency will make all the difference.
Job Description
- Responsible for the prompt distribution of goods to sub-stores or operating departments
- Responsible for cleanliness, hygiene and neat arrangement of the loading bay & general stores areas
- Monitor and manage inventory across all hotel departments ensuring all goods are received in line with Purchase Orders actioning any discrepancies accordingly
- Coordinate timely deliveries and maintain stock levels
- Keep clear and accurate records of all stock movements
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and safety standards for stores
- A minimum of 1 year previous experience as a stores officer or related position, preferably in the Hospitality industry
- Sound knowledge and understanding of stores and logistics processes, policies and systems
- Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Must have valid Australian Working Rights.
