Description:
Founded in the Queensland outback in 1920, Qantas has grown to be Australia’s largest regional, domestic, and international airline. Qantas has a range of subsidiary businesses that support the overall operations of the Group. The Qantas Group’s main business is the transportation of customers and freight using two complementary airline brands — Qantas and Jetstar — operating regional, domestic, and international services.Job Description
- Challenge yourself to design and deliver a portfolio of marketing initiatives, projects and campaigns that support inbound marketing.
- Work with Creative, Content, Design and Media teams to support our global marketing teams.
- Permanent opportunity based at our Mascot Campus.
We’re seeking an International Marketing Manager to support the delivery of global marketing activity by working closely with regional teams and Head Office shared services. This role sits within a central team that champions global efficiency, facilitates cross-market collaboration, and provides governance and strategic support.
In this role, you’ll support international marketing teams by helping to prioritise work, coordinate with shared services, and manage the delivery of global initiatives and projects. You’ll also provide hands-on support to fill capability or resourcing gaps as needed including managing end-to-end campaigns for both B2C and B2B audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Support international teams by coordinating and prioritising projects and workload with global shared services, including Content, Creative, Media and Digital.
- Help prioritise regional marketing needs in alignment with business goals and campaign calendars.
- Manage global projects and campaign rollouts, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and messaging are aligned.
- Facilitate cross-market knowledge sharing, ensuring best practice, tools, and learnings are captured and distributed.
- Provide marketing guidance and governance to ensure campaigns meet brand and strategic standards.
- Act as a connector between Head Office and international teams—supporting efficiency, consistency, and collaboration.
- Step in with hands-on marketing support when local teams need additional capability or coverage.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- 7+ years’ experience in marketing or campaign management, ideally within a complex or global organisation.
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Strong organisational skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.
- A solutions-oriented approach, comfortable working across time zones and engaging with diverse teams.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end campaign workflows — from briefing and planning through to execution and post-campaign review.
- High attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a focus on collective outcomes over individual credit.
- A solid understanding of both ATL and BTL marketing, with hands-on experience delivering campaigns across brand-building and performance-driven (direct response) channels.
- A background that includes brand marketing to build awareness in new markets or segments, as well as consideration marketing to drive engagement and inform decision-making across consumer and trade audiences.
- Experience in travel, airline, or loyalty marketing is a plus — but not essential.
