Team Leader Tree Planting
North Sydney Council administers the North Sydney local government area on Sydney’s picturesque lower North Shore. Our 400 employees look after 77,000 residents spread across 10 square kilometres of land on the foreshores of Sydney Harbour providing spectacular harbour views, beautiful parklands, and a bustling CBD. The role
Are you an experienced and hands-on leader with a passion for urban spaces? We’re on the lookout for a driven and enthusiastic Team Leader to guide our dedicated Tree Planting Team in shaping and maintaining the leafy character of the North Sydney area.
In this key role, you’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing daily operations to ensure the successful planting, establishment, and care of public trees and green spaces across the North Sydney Local Government Area. You’ll lead a small, committed crew—ensuring quality, safety, and service excellence are met every step of the way.
This is a full-time opportunity based at our well-located St Leonards depot in St Leonards Park—just a short walk from public transport and surrounded by open green spaces.

Salary from: $75,283 to $89,892 per annum + 11.5% superannuation + $1,000 pa transport allowance + Uniform Provided
76 hours per fortnight with a rostered day off
