The role:
Council has an exciting career opportunity for a suitably experienced People & Culture Business Partner ready to showcase their skills and make a positive impact in a progressive and community focused organisation in a 2 year fixed contract, (with the possibility to extend). Based at our Scone administration office and reporting directly to the Manager People & Culture, you will provide advice, guidance and support to frontline leaders and staff across a broad spectrum of people & culture related issues including recruitment and selection, induction, performance evaluation, counselling, discipline, training and career development.
This is a diverse and interesting role, for a highly motivated generalist with a passion for people and processes to join our dedicated team. Working in a fast paced environment this role will assist the team in facilitating and managing a positive employee experience during the employment life cycle.
What’s on Offer:
$1424.20 to $1693.20 per 35 hour week + 11.5% super and the opportunity for salary progression

What we need from you:
A tertiary qualification in HR or IR and proven experience in a HR generalist role
High attention to detail and demonstrated experience in large and diverse organisation
Demonstrated knowledge of employment practices, legislation and awards is essential
The ability to build positive and collaborative relationships with internal customers and stake holders as well as external organisations/agencies
Enthusiastic and proactive approach to life and work
Curiosity and willingness to learn new practices and processes
