The role
The Senior Director, Financial Policy Controls and Advisory role is responsible for strategic leadership in financial policy, revenue policy, taxation advice, and insurance assessment. This role involves influencing and supporting policy development and implementation in partnership with Hospital and Health Services (HHSs), ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role will play a key role as the system leader for the Finance Branch demonstrating the ability to manage complex financial policies and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance financial literacy.
The successful person
Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, we are looking for the ideal candidate who possess:
- proven experience in financial policy leadership within a large and complex organisation.
- demonstrated ability to manage and implement financial policies and reforms.
- exceptional stakeholder engagement and negotiations.
- strong leadership and team management skills.
- demonstrated agility to support organisational objectives, actively promote financial literacy, and communicate relevant fiscal and economic risks across the system.
