As the Creative Design Lead, you'll support the Brand Specialist to oversee and drive the creative direction of Australian Retirement Trust. You'll work with the Creative Designer to develop innovative visual concepts and ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
Day To Day, You'll
- Drive brand vision and strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Champion brand identity and maintain quality standards across all touchpoints.
- Create digital and print assets including marketing materials, presentations, and advertising collateral.
- Develop core branding elements (logos, style guides, photography).
- Design UI/UX components and interactive content (animations, GIFs, videos).
- Ensure consistent design implementation across web, mobile, and social platforms.
- Lead the intake, prioritisation and trafficking of brand and design requests across the enterprise.
- Prioritise multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Streamline processes to improve team efficiency.
- Conduct design reviews and provide actionable feedback.
- Partner with marketing teams and external agencies on creative initiatives.
- Stay current with design trends and emerging technologies.
- Contribute to brand evolution while maintaining established guidelines.
Ideally, we'd like this role to be based in Brisbane , but we're happy to consider candidates in Sydney too.
About You
It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:
- You think strategically and have exceptional design expertise, leadership abilities, and a passion for storytelling through compelling visuals.
- You have proven experience in graphic design, branding, and multimedia content creation.
- You’re a master of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
- You have experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Canva.
- You have strong expertise in typography, layout, colour theory, and brand identity development.
- You’re familiar with web design principles and basic HTML/CSS.
- You have excellent communication and project management skills.
- You can think strategically while executing hands-on creative work.
- You can take creative direction and adapt designs based on feedback.
- You have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
