Join this dynamic Obstetrics & Gynaecology team, where you’ll gain high-volume, high-acuity experience across a broad scope of women’s health services — including maternal-foetal medicine, operative gynaecology, outreach services, reproductive health, urogynaecology, and gynaecologic oncology .
The Role
As a Senior Registrar in this multidisciplinary team, you will:
- Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care across obstetrics and gynaecology
- Assist in labour ward management, antenatal/postnatal care, and operative gynaecology
- Participate in remote outreach clinics , providing ultrasound, colposcopy, and basic procedures
- Contribute to registrar leadership , rostering, supervision of junior staff, and medical education
- Engage in after-hours and on-call services
- Develop your leadership, cultural safety, and equity in care as you transition toward a consultant role
- General registration with AHPRA
- Completion of RANZCOG basic training and eligibility for Advanced Training (Years 5 or 6)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in diverse and cross-cultural teams
- Specialist-level training in high-risk and complex obstetric & gynaecological care
- Unique exposure to remote Indigenous health outreach
