We are seeking a dedicated Principal House Officer / Registrar Internal Medicine to join a dedicated medical team. Remuneration value up to $172,273 p.a. employer superannuation contribution (up to 12.75%); annual leave loading (17.5%); professional development allowance; and professional development leave 1.6 weeks p.a.

About the Role
You will:
  • Provide acute and subacute inpatient care, emergency medicine, and outpatient services
  • Participate in after-hours rosters and multidisciplinary teamwork
  • Coordinate care with local health providers and outreach services from Mackay and Townsville
  • Support junior doctors and contribute to continuous clinical improvement
Hospital
  • 20-bed hospital + 9-chair chemotherapy/renal unit
  • 24/7 emergency care and monitored inpatient beds
  • Services include maternity, palliative care, allied health, and medical imaging (CT, X-ray, US, OPG)
  • Outreach clinics in orthopaedics, endocrinology, and more

What You’ll Need
  • MBBS or equivalent and current AHPRA registration
