About the Role
You will:
- Provide acute and subacute inpatient care, emergency medicine, and outpatient services
- Participate in after-hours rosters and multidisciplinary teamwork
- Coordinate care with local health providers and outreach services from Mackay and Townsville
- Support junior doctors and contribute to continuous clinical improvement
- 20-bed hospital + 9-chair chemotherapy/renal unit
- 24/7 emergency care and monitored inpatient beds
- Services include maternity, palliative care, allied health, and medical imaging (CT, X-ray, US, OPG)
- Outreach clinics in orthopaedics, endocrinology, and more
