This is more than a scheduling role—it’s a leadership opportunity. We are looking for a seasoned scheduler who is ready to take the next step, and potentially move towards a Lead Scheduler position, where you will not only manage complex scheduling but also mentor and coach junior team members. You will work closely with Talent Acquisition and Client Experience teams, ensuring a seamless experience for both our workforce and clients. Your ability to proactively manage workforce allocation, anticipate service needs, and implement strategic rostering solutions will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically match Support Workers with Clients based on skills, availability, and individual needs.
- Optimise workforce allocation to maximise efficiency and service continuity.
- Collaborate with Client Experience & Intake Managers to develop high-performing Support Worker teams.
- Identify workforce gaps, analyse trends, and implement proactive solutions to ensure service continuity.
- Act as a key escalation point for complex rostering challenges, providing expert guidance and resolution strategies.
- Coach and mentor junior schedulers, sharing best practices and developing team capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with the SCHADS award and industry regulations while balancing business objectives.
You are an experienced Scheduler with a proven track record in scheduling or rostering within a high-volume environment. Your leadership, problem-solving skills, and ability to navigate complex workforce challenges set you apart.
- Demonstrated experience in scheduling or rostering (Disability, Health, or related industries preferred).
- Proven ability to manage high-volume caseloads while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior schedulers.
- Exceptional organisational, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- A strategic mindset with the capability to identify and implement workforce optimisation initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-first approach.
