We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for energetic, proactive, and compassionate Disability Support Workers (DSWs) to join our brand-new Supported Independent Living (SIL) service in Delacombe, Ballarat .You'll be supporting two participants in a beautiful, newly built home. The first participant is a vibrant 31-year-old male who loves movies, ten-pin bowling, computer games, music, dancing, the beach, and swimming. He's looking for DSWs who can promote his independence, offer choices, support skill development, and maintain his strong family connections.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with Autism and managing Behaviours of Concern
- Background supporting people with Intellectual Disabilities
- Experience providing Medication Assistance
- Behaviour Support experience is essential
Roster Available:
Please note all shifts listed below must be completed in full by the same support worker no amendments can be made.
Casual Position
22 hours per fortnight
Week 1
- Monday 1500PM to 18:00PM - 3 hours
- Tuesday 1500PM to 1800PM - 3 hours
- Wednesday 15:00PM to 1800PM - 3 hours
- Thursday 1500PM to 18:00PM - 3 hours
- Saturday 1300PM to 1800PM - 5 hours
- Sunday 1300PM to 1800PM - 5 hours
Required Credentials
- Current First Aid and CPR certification or a booking confirmation to complete
- Valid driver’s licence and vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- VIC Working With Children - Employee
- NDIS Worker Screening Check - Employee
- Completion of NDIS Quality, Safety, and You module
Casual 3.1 Home Care Employee- includes 25% loading:
- Day: $33.96/hour
- Afternoon: $37.36/hour
- Active night: $38.04/hour
- Saturday: $47.55/hour
- Sunday: $61.13/hour
- Public holiday: $74.72/hour
