About the role
As a Store Manager, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to drive the performance of the facility while adhering to the company values. This key role involves customer service, day-to-day facility operations, administration, and sales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a site assistant, setting clear expectations, providing guidance, training, and offering continuous feedback to achieve performance targets.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service at all times, addressing customer needs, inquiries, and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the facility is well-maintained, secure, and operational. This includes managing facility presentation, maintenance, administration duties, security, access control, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide weekly reports to the operations manager summarizing the facility's performance, including sales, occupancy rates, and other key metrics.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance team culture that reflects the values of the company, focusing on teamwork, respect, and excellence.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a management or team leader role within the storage industry.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with StoreMan platform.
- Experience with industry access control systems is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong conflict resolution skills with the ability to de-escalate challenging situations.
