Description:
Enjoy a cuppa and conversation with a woman full of warmth and rich life experience.
We’re looking for a volunteer to visit a lovely, faith-filled woman once a week for an hour of companionship. Originally from West Africa, she has a rich cultural heritage and a lifetime of stories to share. A former businesswoman and talented seamstress who once specialised in tie-dyeing, she now enjoys quiet days filled with worship music and Bible reading. Her main language is Mauritian Creole, and she also speaks English, Sherbro, and Mende. She’s full of insight and warmth, with a genuine love for meaningful conversation.
Just one hour a week can open the door to rich stories, vibrant culture, and heartfelt connection!
