About the Role:
The Construction and Maintenance Worker is responsible for undertaking a range of construction and maintenance activities for guest facilities and services at Cleland Wildlife Park. The role will also assist with maintaining the gum plantations including the cutting and delivery of browse for the Koala collection as required.

Contract:
Contract for up to 26 January 2026
Special Conditions:
- This role is based at Cleland Wildlife Park.
- The incumbent will be required to wear a uniform and protective clothing in accordance with Departmental policy.
- May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties.
- Current class “C” driver’s licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4wd is essential.
- Weekend work will be required.
- Demonstrates ability to work alone and be self-reliant.
- This role has functions pertaining to working with children and is prescribed under the Child Safety (Prohibited Person) Act 2016 as requiring a Working with Children Check (WWCC). By applying for this role you consent to being screened for appropriate behaviour and to the Department obtaining, or requiring you to obtain a WWCC.
Remuneration:
CMW04 $1,128.60 min - $1,140.30 max per week
