About the role

The Supply Officer is responsible for undertaking a range of tasks associated with inventory management and physical distribution of clinical supplies and equipment throughout facilities within Metro North Health. The Supply Officer is required to provide a high level of client focused service to ensure a high-quality, responsive supply service.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
  • Perform daily supply functions associated with inventory management and physical distribution of clinical supplies and equipment, including but not limited to:
  • Scheduled scanning of departments within the facility.
  • Receiving and unloading deliveries from QH Distribution Centres and external couriers.
  • Picking and packing products supplied and preparing for distribution to departments.
  • Delivering, decanting, coordinating stock rotation and stocktake within departments of the facility.
  • Performing system receipt of goods and equipment supplied to the facility.
  • Reporting delivery inaccuracies to QH Distribution Centres and external vendors.
  • Reporting backorder and nil supply information to department stakeholders.
  • Creation of reservations and requisitions as required by departments.
