About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate and experienced Nurse Consultant to join our team, specialising in the care and support of patients diagnosed with soft tissue sarcomas. As a recognised expert in your field, you will provide advanced clinical care, education, and advice to individuals and their families, while leading initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and improve service delivery across the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN). This pivotal role involves working closely within multidisciplinary teams, participating in nurse-led clinics, and contributing to the implementation of national and international care guidelines for soft tissue sarcoma.

In this dynamic role, you'll take a leadership position, offering clinical guidance to fellow nursing staff and participating in the coordination of quality improvement projects that advance soft tissue sarcoma care. Your commitment will directly support patient-centred care and service excellence within a collaborative and supportive healthcare environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current registration (or eligibility) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding a practising certificate.
  • Highly developed leadership, communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to inspire and support teams.
