We are seeking Accounts Receivable Customer ServiceOfficers to provide solution focused outcomes as part of our customer contact centre. We currently have opportunities for full-time/part time - permanent, or full time - fixed term (ending June 2026) located at Blackburn/ Doncaster.

About the role

Reporting to the Team Leader AR Customer Service, responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Resolve consumer (patient) billings for Ambulance Victoria Service (AV) fees, including via phone, web-portal, and email correspondence
  • Provide a high standard of customer service engagement identifying customers' needs
  • Manage high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner, supported by monitoring of performance dashboards and workload
  • Maintain compliance, accuracy and confidentiality of records associated with customer account details
  • Develop and foster constructive and effective working relationships within the team and across the wider AV

About you

To be considered for this position you will possess:

  • Certificate in Business/Finance or equivalent (desirable)
  • Proven customer service skills with an ability meet performance call handling targets
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and quality control
  • Strong verbal communication skills to engage professionally with internal and external customers
  • Intermediate Microsoft office suite competence level including Word and Excel
