This Occupational Therapy Position is based at St Johns Calvary in Hobart. Depending on level of experience, a Professional Level 2 or would be considered.
Your main duties will include:- Conduct autonomous OT specific assessments and interventions in accordance with professional standards.
- Work as an effective member of the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team and provide co-ordination to the Occupational Therapy team as and when required.
- Supervise, support, train and provide clinical leadership to more junior Occupational Therapists, students and Therapy Assistants as required
- Participate in OT service development, planning, evaluation and promotion
- Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy and Registered with AHPRA
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in contemporary rehabilitation, patient-centred care and OT practice
- Demonstrated ability to provide professional leadership, support and supervision to Occupational Therapists, therapy assistants and students, and other team members as appropriate
- Ability to be flexible and adaptive and innovative in approaches to service delivery
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Current Driver’s License
