Lead with Purpose in Inpatient Occupational Therapy: Empower Recovery and Independence in Acute & Community Settings
Are you passionate about helping others regain independence and function through person-centered care? We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team, delivering care across both inpatient and community settings in the Barossa/Gawler region.
As an Occupational Therapist ( AHP1) , you will work under the supervision of an AHP2 to provide holistic, client-focused therapy to individuals in acute hospital settings and in their homes through the Out of Hospital Team. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, using a combination of early intervention, therapeutic treatment, and evaluation strategies to support clients' functional recovery and participation in everyday life.
In the Occupational Therapist ( AHP2) role, you'll use your clinical experience and knowledge to independently deliver and evaluate occupational therapy services across settings. You'll also support and supervise junior staff and students, contribute to service development, and work collaboratively across teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care tailored to community needs.

Applicant Information
This is a part time vacancy. The temporary position will require working 30 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked. The ongoing position will require working 45 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
