Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is eager to recruit an Acute Care Senior Physiotherapist to work in our dynamic, growing and supportive team, to help us deliver exceptional care to our hospital patients and to maximise their functional abilities during their recovery from acute illness.

About the Role:

The Senior Physiotherapist – General Medicine is responsible to the Senior Manager of Physiotherapy for the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of quality Physiotherapy services for patients of the Lyell McEwin Hospital (LMH), across a range of Acute Medical clinical areas. As a highly skilled and competent clinician in Acute Care Physiotherapy, the Senior Physiotherapist delivers quality services and provides clinical leadership within the acute hospital services, providing supervision and support to a team of rotating Physiotherapists working across a number of Acute wards.

Working in conjunction with other team members and other health professionals the Senior Physiotherapist optimises patient functional and health outcomes in this specialty area.

To be eligible for this position, you must have an Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
