About the role:
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, SALHN is seeking a passionate and skilled Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to join our Peritoneal Dialysis Unit at the renowned Flinders Medical Centre. This part-time opportunity is a rare chance to contribute to the well-being of our community while advancing your career within a dynamic and supportive environment.
As the ANUM of the Peritoneal Dialysis Unit, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care to patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the day-to-day operations of the unit, mentoring and guiding nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
About you:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines, whilst working under minimal supervision.
