Description:

The Project Officer, Coorong, Lower Lakes and Murray Mouth is responsible for helping to deliver The Living Murray program within the Coorong, Lower Lakes and Murray Mouth icon site. The Project Officer is responsible for providing assistance to manage contracts and grant agreements for ecological monitoring programs, engagement activities with First Nations and community groups, developing communication materials/activities, and supporting broader environmental water delivery initiatives within the SA River Murray.

Contract: up to 30 June 2026

Desirable Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in natural resource management, science, engineering or equivalent

Special Conditions:

  • May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties
  • Some out of hours work may be required
  • Overnight absences and inter and intra state travel will be required on occasion

Remuneration: ASO5 ($85,790 min - $95,413 max) p.a.
